Lite American Lager

A low gravity and low calorie beer characteristic of mainstream America. Often sold as the "light" version. No strong flavors.

Profile

Very light, with little or no malt aroma. Can be grainy, sweet or corn-like. Low bitterness and hop aroma. Color is pale to golden. No diacetyl. Highly carbonated.

Ingredients

American hops, American or Pilsner Lager yeast, Pale two or six row malt. Frequently has up to 40% rice or corn adjuncts.
